Established companies are not the only forces facing disruption. People are too with what career they take. Do not believe the myth that you do what you went to school for. The logic is so flawed it will lead you nowhere. Just because you are established because you are higher up at a company makes you even more ripe for disruption unless you disrupt or recreate yourself.
